Their music being made for stage, the band embarked themselves in the adventure of concerts with a first date at the Broadway Globe Theater in Los Angeles in November 2017 and then, there are some several dates to come in the course of 2018. Note that there is a big featuring for the track « River Of Darkness » with the indisputed master of Dreamwave Timecop1983. The album even reached 17th place on the Billboard Dance charts. In August 2016 was released their first 12 tracks album « Endless Summer » which made a lot of noises in Synthwave scene but this is « Nocturnal » LP that arrived at the end of 2017 which had a lot of success on the American online music company Bandcamp (best-seller). The quality of this EP projected them with Synth-pop ambassadors like Electric Youth or GUNSHIP. They began the adventure of « The Midnight » in 2014 with a first 6 titles EP named « Days of Thunder « .

The midnight days of thunder flac movie#
The movie DRIVE by Nicolas Winding Refn was a revelation, for the two artists, to start a musical project inspired by the 80s. The band was formed in 2012 in Los Angeles during a co-writing workshop. Their music is characterized by modern sounds mixed with 80s atmosphere and significant saxophone parts managed by Thomas Edinger. I’m really digging the vibes for the Days Of Thunder remix and this other one called “ Pole“.The Midnight is an electronic music band that consists of an american singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle and a danish composer Tim McEwan. I’ve never been a fan of drum and bass, until I heard what Proff’s been churning out under his Soultorque alias. If you like the songs, PLEASE support them by purchasing the album or just the songs ? Soultorque It’s progressive drum and bass! Is that a thing? It is now! Even without the sax, the remix is so insanely delicious!

The track is drum and bass, but it’s also uplifting and progressive. The Soultorque remix of Days of Thunder is a great example of Proff’s talent. And has he produced some fantastic tracks under this new alias. Recently, Proff’s been experimenting with drum and bass under his alias “ Soultorque“. I’ve been a huge fan of the Russian producer and in fact two of my albums, Night Lights & Music That Makes Me ?, are heavily influenced by his remixes and works. The second track on the Days Of Thunder EP is remixed by one of my favourite producer/DJs, Proff. Days Of Thunder (Proff presents Soultorque Remix) If you liked the song, especially the saxophone solo, I’d highly recommend this video from the man behind the solo. Streamlined Cannonball 10 Show Me The Door 11 Likes Of Me> 12 Thunder Set. I am not saying the video is bad, it’s just that it lacks that punch, that pizzazz which makes the song so damn energetic! 08 Bronzeback 09 Home 10 Midnight On The Highway 11 Everythings The Same. But in my head, the imagery/video for this song is very, very different.

I do love how it’s stayed true to it’s 80’s style.

The video sort of destroys my impression of the song. Oh my god, the sax freaking awesome (courtesy Thomas Edinger)!!! The sax solo, which like any good song from the 80’s, eventually fades out. The song has all the right elements, from the drums to the sax.
The midnight days of thunder flac tv#
Until I hadn’t seen the official video, the song, in my opinion, could have been a soundtrack for a hit 80’s TV drama that features a rebellious protagonist (David Hasselhoff, maybe) who fights bad guys and rides a bike. The title track from The Midnight’s album, Days Of Thunder is a tribute to the 80’s style of music. Sounds strange doesn’t it? Read on.Īfter their success with WeMoveForward, The Midnight released their second single from their album, Days of Thunder, a track by the same name. It features 2 tracks, which although extremely are the same couldn’t be more different than one another. The Midnight’s Days Of Thunder has to be one of my favourite EPs this year.
